Being Present

In the book "The Power of Now"it's written that to the ego, the present moment is hardly exist, only past and future are considered important. We all know how having the ego will ruined our lives, our ego would initiate different kind of problems such as jealousy, envy, greed, worry, anger, etc.

Therefore, living in the present moment is the solution to a problem you may not have known you had, the conscious awareness and a commitment to staying in the “now”. The living in the "now" keeps us grounded and connected to ourselves and to everything around us.

If we are completely present, the external forces are no longer a problem. In the present there is only we and our surroundings, and not other things you need to worry about. Let's be aware and mindful to ourselves and our surroundings.

The Master stays behind; that is why she is ahead. She is detached from all things; that is why she is one with them. Because she has let go of herself, she is perfectly fulfilled. Smile

How to Win Friends and Influence People Dale Carnegie It costs nothing, but creates much. It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away.  And if in the last-minute rush of Christmas buying someone should be too tired to give you a smile, maybe we can leave one of ours for them. For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to  give !  give ! https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/23...
