CovidSafe App

The CovidSafe app is officially launched today. People are stil debating about this app, many are pro and many more are against the app. The app helps the health authorities to do the contact tracing, it needs 40% of Australia population or ten million people to download and use the app for it to be effective. The app will running in background, use the location and Bluetooth and the data will be destroyed every 21 days. The app is an assessment tool for the Australia Government (Federal, States, and Territories) to ease or apply the restrictions and lockdowns. Two weeks ago due to privacy concerns I was and still hesitated to use this app, but for the greater good I don't mind to use this app. My husband is strongly refused to install this app. I finally install this app but I won't turn my Bluetooth on for 24/7, I will turn it on only when I am outside the house. More than 100k users have already downloaded this app by the time I downloaded this app, 9,900k more to go people.

Sweet vs Kind

If you have to choose between a sweet person to a kind person which one will you choose? For me, I would rather have a kind person close to me than a sweet person. I also rather be a kind person than a sweet person.

Hillsong Conference 2020

This year Hillsong Conference theme on July is Breathe Again. I have booked the early bird tickets since July 2019, just as soon as Hillsong 2019 ended.  Since the interstate lockdown on march 2020, I have been wondering whether the event will be happening or not. I have checked the Hillsong's website for four times on March until I send an email to the Hillsong's team. They reply was at that time they can't assured us the continuity nor the cancellation of the event until May 2020. However, I notice that they are still selling the tickets on their website. I have booked all the flights and the accomodation for a week in Sydney before all the Covid-19 going on. My departure flight was booked with Virgin Airlines, and  the carrier was seeking 1.4 billion dollar bail out from the Federal government since the lockdown begin. Otherwise the company will collapsed and thousands of workers would lost their job, and obviously there won't be any flight for me. I pray and wish th

Trials and Tribulations

Life on planet Earth is filled with trials and tribulations. They are constantly coming at us like waves to the shore. It is okay to be angry, and it is okay to feel helpless. The Bible encourages us to boast gladly about our weaknesses. It is not the way of the world. It’s the way of grace. And in this weakness, Christ’s power rests on us. But no matter on what and how big is your trials and tribulations are, we shouldn't ever sin. "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:" Ephesians 4:26 KJV “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds”  James 1:2 "Testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything”  James 1:3-4 "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;  And patience, experience; and experience, hope:  And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God

Drag Queens

Lately I have been fascinated by Drag Queens communities. It all start from this particular  Video . Drag Queens are elegant, sassy, witty, feminine. They are sensitive being, but don't mind any gender. You can called them with he or she, they consider themselves as gender liquid, not necessarily gay. I love their passion and their creativity. It is not an easy thing being a drag queen, there never actually a job that easier than other. It's a lesson not to compare or boasting your own occupation. The same as the current situation, every job is essential, not one job that is more essential than other. Let's bring all the essential workers back 😊😘

Galatians 5:1 KJV

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Millenial Age

I am the early generation of millennials. During my three decades of my life, I have been experiencing some minor and major events where the world was on panic and so called the Global meltdowns.  My first Global panic was the 1997-1998 Global Financial Crisis which led to the fallout of the longest regime of Indonesia presidency and also the biggest race and religion persecution on minorities in the country.  Two years later, we experiencing a fear that all the whole system around the world will collapse after 11.59 pm on 31 December 1999. We are going to the stone age in 2000. People are going to lost all the record on what they have and the world are going to be on chaos and disoriented at the beginning of the new millenium. People were spending their saving and became preppers before they lost all their money due to system failures. Then seven years later on 2007 to 2008 we have the global financial crisis. I was working in one of the biggest Indonesia International Bank at that ti

How Last is the New Normal?

A lot of people believe that our life won't be the same after Covid-19. We currently embracing some restricted new living arrangements and we called them as "New Normal". I can agree and disagree with this statement, we might able to change and adept or we struggle to change and won't change. I believe it's hard to change the way we living especially if you have live on earth for decades. After this pendemic we going to experience short changes before we eventually getting back to our old way of life. Even though this is a major event worldwide, human's natures and characters globally are hardly even change. Human will preserve the same habits and leave the same footprints, just like they used to. They will make the same decisions and repeat the same mistakes unfortunately. So the "New Normal" during Covid-19 won't last too long, it will only last until the virus is successfully eradicates.

Christ Has Risen

Mourning Good Friday

I always feel heartbroken during Easter, and the Holy Week Friday is the saddest day for me in the whole year  I still remember the first time I grieving for death was when I watched the movie about Jesus crucifixion for the first time. At that time, I couldn't comprehend why God the Father allowed Jesus to be crucified and why Israeli back in the day want Jesus to die. Since then, I start to have fear of human more than I scared of evil. I don't like suffering, to feel it, and to look at it. It's gut wrenching to see people who caused other beings to suffer in any kind of form. Suffering is something that I consciously and unconsciously avoid constantly. But the more mature I am, the more I understand why God condones suffering. Just like He allowed Jesus to die and rise, he allowed people to experience badness for the eventuality glory on earth and definite crown in Heaven. He taught us to be resilience and have endurement to overcame all the ups and downs of life. He wan

Maundy Thursday

Today is the Maundy Thursday for 2020, is the anniversary of Jesus's last supper with His disciples.  I have a quite low spirit and feeling gloomy today. I am quite moody, but I won't take it out on someone. I usually blame myself for feeling this way. I am an introvert and shy, I don't like to talk and I don't have many friends. My bestfriends are my husband, my 🐕, my sister's, and a female friend. Finland, Denmark, and Sweden are countries with the lowest income disparity, their citizens and residents are not talkative. Even though they have the highest index happiness in the world, they also part of countries that have high suicidal rate. My point is that every light will bring dark, every depression will bring growth. Keep positive people, everything will pass, in the moment of uncertainties let's just live simply, step by step and slow just like a 🐢. Just concern of the NOW, not the past or the future. May God bless you all.

Come Alive

Monday is perhaps the most forgetful day of the week. We live much of our lives with this escapist drive toward the weekend, thinking those two days will fulfill all of our needs and fantasies. More sleep! More time to work on those assignments! A chance to have clean pants again! Time with people I like! Time with God! Time with my good friends, Leslie Knope & Ron Swanson! Then Monday rolls around. “How was your weekend?” someone asks. My mind goes blank. “Church was…really good,” I mutter vaguely, the Monday amnesia hitting me like a cartoon anvil. As Christians, we have spent the past few weeks in anticipation of Easter. We prepared our hearts. We reflected on the cross and its significance. We felt the long, heavy pause between Good Friday and Easter Sunday – waiting for the discovery of an empty grave and a risen Savior. And then it comes. He comes. And then it’s Monday. The temptation is to treat Easter like it’s an ending. The eggs have all been found, Jesus is risen (*raise

Supermoon Schedule

I am a big fan of the 🌒. A few years ago, on 31 January 2018, I watched something that appeared one in my lifetime from Langley Park WA. It was a Super Blue Blood Moon which is a total lunar eclipse and then the appearance of supermoon, blood moon, blue moon.  Today I have missed out a chance to satellite gazing the supermoon, pink Supermoon which was predicted at 6.31 pm AWST. This time the star gazers and moon lovers have to enjoy it by themselves in their own home due to Covid-19. But don't be despair, there are more upcoming Moon events in Perth to be enjoyed with your family and friends this 2020. Spy Wednesday

Wednesday in the holy week often called as spy Wednesday, because it was the day when Judas betrayed Jesus. Jesus says, in a world that draws lines and pits us against each other, we must sit down at the table where no seat can be earned and partake in a meal that none of us can claim credit for Hatred and fear are the most contagious diseases our world suffers from. They make us quick to act, quick to condemn, and quick to count someone as our enemy. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.   But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;   That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.   For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? Matthew 5:43‭-‬46 KJV

Hibernate

These past days, I haven't been working and I have spent probably 3/4 of my day sleeping and always on the bed. My body feels stiff, I lost my appetite, drink less water, and my mind has become quite dull. At first I quite depressed about it, how the lockdown and restrictions going to affect my life now and many months in the future. Since I spent most of my time sleeping, I reminiscing about my old hobby which is sleeping. I applying the turtle medicine and hedgehog year to stay healthy now.  I should take advantage of the current situation by learning how to slow down, how to dream, how to be resilient and enduring. Human are animal, we have our own survival skill, just like the hedgehog who spent it's six to seven months hibernating when the winter come. Me too I hibernating unconsciously and today I feel good about it. Just like many life start again after winter, after this lockdowns everything will bounce back and flourishing again. Just like the hedgehog which preserve i

Things that COVID 19 made clear  1. United States  🇺🇸  is no longer the world's leading country. 2. China  🇨🇳  won the 3rd world war without firing a missile and no one could handle it. 3. Pissed Off

The uncertainties create anxieties The anxieties create anger This afternoon I am pissed off, and I realised that the moment I am angry, I am in the lose position. I lose my joy, my peace, my health, my sanity, so anger is not really worth it. Life is always full of uncertainties, you can't help it. Life is also full of unfairness, you just try the best you can to be assertive of yourself and believe that everything is a blessing in disguise. The uncertainties came because you are worry about the future, and I will try harder to live more in the present, let go of past and the future. The past is yesterday today, and the future is tomorrow today. Let's live lighter and not carrying any unnecessary burden. Today difficulties is only for today, tomorrow would have its own difficulties. I will try to live more by faith, believe that everything that happen to us is a God's grace and He has a reason. He will always provide us, but I also need to work the best I can according to

Broken Up and Start Anew

March 2020 has been a tumultuous month for me and maybe to many other people as well. So many anxieties causes by so many uncertainties. Panic buying, gun restrictions, people losing their jobs, businesses go under just to name a few. Covid-19 news broadcasted everytime everywhere, I have had enough about it and I finally can breaking off my 'new hobby'. I have reducing the intensity of me myself checking on the number of Covid-19 cases and deaths toll in the past few days. I still checking it in every morning at night, but not as often as before. I want to breaking up with you Covid-19, slowly slowly but sure. Today is the first day of April and I finally I have heard some good news about this naughty virus. Apparently, many countries have flatten the curve now, even though the biggest economy country in the world is currently the new epicenter of this virus. The current cases now is 886,112 cases and deaths toll is 44,228 worldwide There are benefits and shortcomings about Co
