Uncertainties

Life is full of uncertainties, deal with it!

When I was studying economics, I was taught that human behaviour is more predictable than we think. Fair dinkum indeed!!!

Today highlights are:
  • God loves us
  • The Covid-19 outbreak outside China is deepening, more and more countries reporting their first cases and the death toll in the USA has jumped to 9 people
  • The Fed cut their rates by 0.5% today and Australia also decreases their cash rate earlier this month to 0.5%
  • The market panic, many investors pulled out their investments, stock prices plunges to the record low since World War 2
  • The global recession just lurking around the corner
  • People are in panic mode and start stocking up on many items such as ready and long-life F&B, the Australian has piled up on toilet papers from the supermarket shelves
  • Many countries experienced shortages in materials due to their dependency on China
In these challenging times, we should let go of our ego, we should living in the now rather than the past or the future. We should believe that God has a bigger plan for all of us and surrender ourselves to God by doing the best we can now for us and the people.

Blessed is the man who patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him - James 1:12

The warmest hug that I have ever received from a stranger is in 2018 from the homeless man who stop and asked me if I have a spare change which I did not have. Despite the fact that I had nothing to give him, he gave me a hug that I can't forget, the hug that come unexpected yet so beautiful. God usually pack a lot of power and strength into tiny little packages, in the most humble way.
