Be The Best

It you can’t be a pine on the top of the hill,  be a scrub in the valley but be the best little scrub by the side of the rill; Be a bush, if you can’t be a tree. If you can’t be a bush, be a bit of the grass, and some highway happier make; If you can’t be a muskie, then just be a bass- but the liveliest bass in the lake! We can’t all be captains, we’ve got to be crew, there’s something for all of us here. There’s big work to do and there’s lesser to do, and the task we must do is the near. If you can’t be a highway, then just be a trail, If you can’t be the sun, be a star; It isn’t by size that you win or you fail- Be the best of whatever you are! Embrace the Death

I embrace the death as a happy event. Death is the moment when you lost someone and the beginning of a new start for the dead and for people that have been left behind.  The current official number of total death from Covid-19 worldwide as per this second is 25,042 people. The majority of people are afraid to die, therefore, we have so many countries prefer to fight the Covid-19 by taking prevention action which is flatten the curve to limit further cases and added casualties. But there are few developed countries that apply the 'Herd Immunities' strategy. The countries will seperate the healthy young people from the elderly and the vulnerable people. With this strategy a country may expect a higher number of cases so fast so soon, they even expect 80% of the population would catch the virus. However, the bigger and faster people get affected, the faster they will fight the virus using their immune system, and the faster they defeat the virus. The plus point is the economy will

Lockdown

I couldn't believe that today's news all talk about Covid-19 all day all night, and my social media, messaging apps, text messages also full about this matter too. More and more countries have erected the laws to reduce the commuters, the word 'LOCKDOWN' was used in so many times and occasions. In 2020, the very first lockdown (word) was announced for Wuhan City in China. The word has scared global people who hear it first in 23 January 2020, now it has become a kind of joke in my own opinion. It is so widely and easily use by anyone (especially influencers), therefore the word itself has lost it's weight. Lockdown has become a new norm, unlike the Wuhan lockdown, people has accept the idea and applying a new lifestyle of staying at home and social distancing for unforeseeable future worldwide. Out of 197 countries in the world 196 countries and territories are officially have Covid-19 cases.

To Learn From Animal Being

Nearer to the earth's heart, Deeper within its silence: Animals know this world In a way we never will. We who are ever Distanced and distracted By the parade of bright Windows thought opens: Their seamless presence Is not fractured thus. Stranded between time Gone and time emerging, We manage seldom To be where we are: Whereas they are always Looking out from The here and now. May we learn to return And rest in the beauty Of animal being, Learn to lean low, Leave our locked minds, And with freed senses Feel the earth Breathing with us. May we enter Into lightness of spirit, And slip frequently into The feel of the wild. Let the clear silence Of our animal being Cleanse our hearts Of corrosive words. May we learn to walk Upon the earth With all their confidence And clear-eyed stillness So that our minds Might be baptized In the name of the wind And light and the rain. The King

And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord , and his name one. Zechariah 14:9 KJV

New Normal

When you are surrounded by negativity And it is running so constantly  You will become immune to it At the end the negativity will become your new normal But we have the power to decide  Whether the negativity defines you Or shapes you to become a stronger person, A better person #IAmASurvivor

Entering Death

I pray that you will have the blessing Of being consoled and sure about your death. May you know in your soul There is no need to be afraid. When your time comes, may you have Every blessing and strength you need. May there be a beautiful welcome for you In the home you are going to. You are not going somewhere strange, Merely back to the home you have never left. May you live with compassion And transfigure everything Negative within and about you. When you come to die, May it be after a long life. May you be tranquil Among those who care for you. May your going be sheltered And your welcome assured. May your soul smile In the embrace Of your Anam Cara. John O’Donohue To Bless the Space Between Us

Mercy

As long as we live, we always face challenges in life. Since it is ought to happen and occurred constantly, we should have cool and calm attitudes everytime we face challenges. This is also include the Covid-19. It is new problem but it's kind of the same challenge. People should not farsaken their humanity for their survivor instinct. Panic buying, I despise this kind of action, it is just so selfish and have domino effect. The one that suffer the most from this domino effect is the bottom piece which is the vulnerables. We all should have mercy to our neighbors, we should give other some kindness that we expect other to give us. Human population is just the first world problem in my point of view. Yesterday I was writing about my new depressing hobby, which is the constant check on a particular website. This morning, like usual I checked this website and apparently this website suffer a ddos attack and the attacker try to change some information on this website. Later

My New Hobby

Due to Covid-19, I have built a quiet depressing new hobby. My new hobby is stalking the number of Covid-19 everytime I get my hands on the phone. This is the very first thing that I check in the morning, the first thing I open on my break, and at night I keep refreshing the website multiple times before midnight and the last thing I check before I go to bed. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ This is the website I used to keep myself updated on Covid-19. The website very reliable and spot on, sometimes it gives figures faster than the official website in some respected countries. This particular website also provide a real-time statistical service on the world population. The rapid growth of human population just make me livid. In a century, the 20th century, human population grow exponentially from 1 billion to 6 billion. A hundred years inheritance of 5 billion people. I wish people realised and more aware on how much their contribution is to the carbon footprint on this pla

Blessings for the Old Age

May the light of your soul mind you, May all your worry and anxiousness about becoming old be transfigured, May you be given a wisdom with the eye of your soul, to see this beautiful time of harvesting. May you have the commitment to harvest your life, to heal what has hurt you, to allow it to come closer to you and become one with you. May you have great dignity, may you have a sense of how free you are, And above all may you be given the wonderful gift of meeting the eternal light and beauty that is within you. May you be blessed, and may you find a wonderful love in yourself for yourself. John O’Donohue To Bless the Space Between Us

Bread of Life

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:35 KJV

Whatsoever Good

Whatsoever Good is a blog created to spread anything good or informative. However, lately I have not been able to write something good. I was surrounded by worries and anxieties everyday by hearing, reading, or even by coming to work. Today is the official day WHO announced that Covid-19 is a pendemic. As per today 125 countries have report their Covid-19 cases, almost 130,000 cases worldwide and 4,751 deaths. The current death rate is 6%. I believe in God, He is our provider, He would never ever forsake us.

A Morning Offering

I bless the night that nourished my heart To set the ghosts of longing free Into the flow and figure of dream That went to harvest from the dark Bread for the hunger no one sees. All that is eternal in me Welcomes the wonder of this day, The field of brightness it creates Offering time for each thing To arise and illuminate. I place on the altar of dawn: The quiet loyalty of breath, The tent of thought where I shelter, Waves of desire I am shore to And all beauty drawn to the eye. May my mind come alive today To the invisible geography That invites me to new frontiers, To break the dead shell of yesterdays, To risk being disturbed and changed. May I have the courage today To live the life that I would love, To postpone my dream no longer But do at last what I came here for And waste my heart on fear no more. Matthew 5:6

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 KJV

I am Tired

I am tired, that is clear, Because, at certain stage, people have to be tired. Of what I am tired, I don't know: It would not serve me at all to know Since the tiredness stays just the same. The wound hurts as it hurts And not in function of the cause that produced it. Yes, I am tired, And ever so slightly smiling At the tiredness being only this - In the body a wish for sleep, In the soul a desire for not thinking And, to crown all, a luminous transparency Of the retrospective understanding… And the one luxury of not now having hopes? I am intelligent: that's all. I have seen much and understood much of what I have seen. And there is a certain pleasure even in tiredness this brings us, That in the end the head does still serve for something. Alvaro de Campos 24-6-1935 https://allpoetry.com/I-Am-Tired

Love One Another

A Blessing for Absence

May you know that absence is alive with hidden presence, that nothing is ever lost or forgotten. May the absences in your life grow full of eternal echo. May you sense around you the secret Elsewhere, where the presences that have left you dwell. May you be generous in your embrace of loss. May the sore well of grief turn into a seamless flow of presence. May your compassion reach out to the ones we never hear from. May you have the courage to speak for the excluded ones. May you become the gracious and passionate subject of your own life. May you not disrespect your mystery through brittle words or false belonging. May you be embraced by God in whom dawn and twilight are one. May your longing inhabit it’s dreams within the Great Belonging. John O’Donohue To Bless the Space Between Us

Uncertainties

Life is full of uncertainties, deal with it! When I was studying economics, I was taught that human behaviour is more predictable than we think. Fair dinkum indeed!!! Today highlights are: God loves us The Covid-19 outbreak outside China is deepening, more and more countries reporting their first cases and the death toll in the USA has jumped to 9 people The Fed cut their rates by 0.5% today and Australia also decreases their cash rate earlier this month to 0.5% The market panic, many investors pulled out their investments, stock prices plunges to the record low since World War 2 The global recession just lurking around the corner People are in panic mode and start stocking up on many items such as ready and long-life F&B, the Australian has piled up on toilet papers from the supermarket shelves Many countries experienced shortages in materials due to their dependency on China In these challenging times, we should let go of our ego, we should living in the now rather

Covid-19

Today the President of Indonesia confirmed the first two cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia, a country with 270 million people. And these are some of documented photos on how Indonesian people react to the news People are so concern for their well-being, they are novices to suffering and death. Thousand of people are dying everyday even without Coronavirus. Death is something inevitable in our life, it is ridiculous to be even slightly worry about it. We all have to come on terms that we are just living beings who would never know when the end will come.

Autumn

Today is the first day of March, in Australia it is officially first day of a new season. A beautiful season where the leaves fall off and the chill winds start to blow. It is the end of the summer and the preparation for the winter. It is the season of death for a new beginning. Before today we have an eventful week particularly on the weather in our beloved city, we have plenty of thunderstorms and some rains from Monday to Friday. Moreover, we also received some shocking news this morning about the first Corona death in Australia, USA, and Thailand. Whatever the new season will bring, regardless all the dooms and glooms, it is always my husband favourite season and I can't disagree with him.  Welcome Autumn 😍😘 A touch of cold in the Autumn night – I walked abroad, And saw the ruddy moon lean over a hedge Like a red-faced farmer. I did not stop to speak, but nodded, And round about were the wistful stars With white faces like town children. Crapsey, T. E.
