Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled.
Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.
My late father and mother once told me that we need to live responsibly in this earth, God held us accountable for all our deeds. God is merciful, however, He is also fair.
One night my father who struggling with sleep apnea spend time by himself watching TV in the bungalow, I came out against the cold night to accompany him. I was glad I did that, because somehow we ended up having talk about life, and his talk stuck within me and help me to cope with all the externalities. He told me that our earthy life is only tiny portion compared to our eternal life.
To be honest, I had no idea about the life I had before my life, nor the afterlife. Since I know nothing, I believe that I better off live my life with caution just like walking on the eggshells (carefully), rather than recklessly living a life that I can't contend to.
I would not live my life to pursue things that considered precious in this world, yet do things that are pleasant to Him. People, it's okay to feel you are difference, or think that you are not fit in with this world. Because Jesus said: "Let's all the least in this world become the first, let's the stone the builders rejected become the capstone!!"
