Holla, It's Been a While

Oh my gosh..

Suddenly have the urge to write again this year.
My last post was Jan 2021, almost 6 years ago.. I wrote a lot when the pandemic hit, because I have so many stories and a lot of time. Life definitely less busy back then.

In the communication skills I love read and write the most. Speaking is my least favourite from when I was born. My mother was worried about me, because I just start to talk when I was three years old.
But when I start learning other languages, I realised my preferred skills shifting depends on the languages.
In any language using normal Roman alphabet, I love reading and writing.
But in any other languages using different fonts, I love speaking more than read and write.

I've been wanting to learn different languages:
- Sign language
- Mandarin
- Cantonese
- Latin so I will be able to understand Portuguese, Italy, Spanish, German, French
- Swahili

Yesterday I committed to learning ASL, I love it!!! There are amazing apps that helps us learning ASL, thank you Technology.
I also make more effort and progress on Mandarin.
I'm very competitive and impatient, so it usually break my spirit when I make a lot of mistakes and slow progress. I only learn half ass on Mandarin Swahili and Portuguese.
However, this time I will different.
It's okay to be slow, and maybe stuck in the same mistake, but never stop. I'm committed , I will consistently make progress bit by bit...
I would not be easily give up this time.

So hopefully I have lots of things to share with you from now on.
My journey, my struggle, my hobby

Ignem alere!!!

Inorganic

The Tao is infinite, eternal. Why is it eternal? It was never born; thus it can never die. Why is it infinite? It has no desires for itself; thus it is present for all beings. The Master stays behind; that is why she is ahead. She is detached from all things; that is why she is one with them. Because she has let go of herself, she is perfectly fulfilled. Mother

The bond that a child develops with his mother can never be severed. You grew as an organism inside her for nine months. She carried you and sustained you, sharing her sustenance with you through your umbilical cord. When you are born the cord is severed. It is never severed in her heart. That bond lasts forever. As we grow up we become our own people and may come to forget that woman who nurtured and loved us. But remember this, she will never forget you and never stop loving you. Source:  https://www.familyfriendpoems.com/poems/family/mother/ A single mother of three just visited us this week, she is just 25 and she has 5 yo, 2 yo, and 2 months old daughters. There were lots of energy in the house, there were never a quite time on the daytime. Their mother has no time to rest, to nap, to have her me time. My husband said to me, the good thing about being a grandparent is they can return their grandchildrens when they become too much, but not for the parent, the parent can't forsa...

Smile

How to Win Friends and Influence People Dale Carnegie It costs nothing, but creates much. It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give. It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None are so rich they can get along without, and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.  It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends. It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and Nature´s best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away.  And if in the last-minute rush of Christmas buying someone should be too tired to give you a smile, maybe we can leave one of ours for them. For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to  give !  give ! https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/23...
